Aroha Fine Arts is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to excellence in professional classical Indian arts and culture based in Ottawa, Canada.
Aroha Fine Arts was founded in 2005 by acclaimed Kathak dancer, choreographer and Artistic Director Anjali Patil.
Performances
Creation, production and presentation of professional works based on Kathak dance.
Under Anjali’s artistic direction, local and international professional dancers, artists, musicians, and other collaborators have been brought together under the umbrella of Aroha Fine Arts to create and present original works. These works have been presented at a number of prestigious festivals and events, including the Junos (Ottawa), Canada Dance Festival (Ottawa), Delhi International Arts Festival (Delhi, India), the Sangeet Natak Akademi Kathak Festival (Chennai, India) and the Pune Festival (Pune, India).
Kathak Classes & Workshops
Education and training in professional and pre-professional Kathak dance.
Kathak Guru Anjali Patil has created a unique curriculum drawing from both Lucknow & Jaipur Gharanas.
Fundamentals of classical training focusing on rhythmic precision, refined technique, & expression, as well as cultural knowledge are taught under the “guru-shishya parampara”.
Students develop discipline, confidence & excel as stage performers.

Anjali dedicates her time to include everyone in this experience at no financial cost.
